Organisers Announces 50 Extra Tickets To Be Added
Toronto and Edmonton – April 2, 2019 – Its official! The SingularityU Canada Summit in Edmonton is SOLD OUT! One thousand leaders from the public, private, academic, and community sectors will be coming together in Edmonton for two day jam-packed days of inspiration, action, and connection.
Recognizing the demand, organisers worked with the venue to create space for 50 additional leaders. The tickets will be released this afternoon on the SUCanada website.
Commenting on the incredible demand, SingularityU Canada CEO Oren Berkovich said; “After selling out The Summit 2019, we are super excited to be able to add an extra 50 tickets. We are really looking forward to April 23rd and 24th when Edmonton will host more than 1000 Canadians from different sectors to engage in a strategic conversation about our collective future. Together with more than 6000 attendees at satellite events across Canada, we will discuss how exponential technologies are impacting our future and the role that each of us can play to make that our (possible) future one of abundance, in which Canada takes a lead”
Featuring a line-up of more than 40 speakers and performers, The Summit 2019 will feature global experts in Robotics, Blockchain, Future of Food, Exponential Health, AI, Education, Clean Tech, Cybersecurity and more. Attendees will get hands-on in the Lab and dive-deeper in the Forum.
A One Night Only Experience
Adding to the experience, SU After Dark – the official after party – will be hosted at a top secret “One Night Only” venue promising an experience like nothing Edmonton has seen before (or will again).
The Summit has been curated to enable attendees to experience the (possible) future today, meet like-minded forward-thinkers and join a growing network of thought leaders, trailblazing practitioners, and impact startups.
A Pan-Canadian Conversation
Not in Edmonton? Canadians across the country have the opportunity to participate in The SingularityU Canada Summit 2019 through Satellite events taking place from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Satellite events will be more than an opportunity to watch the stream of the summit; satellite events will be leveraging the content presented while incorporating local innovators, material, and participant-driven activities. This will allow each satellite event to empower their local communities and networks by contributing to the conversation and direction on exponential technology in Canada. Keep an eye on the SU Canada website for a full list of confirmed locations for satellite events.

The SingularityU Canada Summit is the cornerstone of the pan-Canadian SingularityU Canada movement. A forum for true debate and uncommon conversations about how technologies like artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and digital medicine will impact the way we live and work.
Building the Canadian platform of Singularity University was made possible when a grassroots movement of Canadian SU alumni brought together a visionary group of founding members including ATB, BMO, CIBC, Canadian Medical Association, CN, Deloitte, FairVentures, Goodmans LLP, Google, the Government of Ontario, RBC, Rogers Communications, Scotiabank, Suncor, TMX and TD Bank Group. Together this initial group is on a mission to share SU’s exponential mindset and bold thinking with Canadians from coast to coast to coast. The group is working closely with leading-edge innovation hubs, academic institutions, and NGOs across the country to create a pan-Canadian network of partners who wish to come together and discuss Canada’s role in shaping our collective future.
